Terms and Conditions
This document sets forth the legally binding terms of your use of Buyacredit.com. By purchasing a credit or pixel ad on www.buyacredit.com or by submitting your ideas/thoughts/opinions on the producer portal you agree to the following terms.
ADVERTISING
Although advertising on the online credits with a website URL is allowed, due to distribution laws, blatant advertising of companies and websites on the end credits of the film itself is not. Blatant Advertising credits and Website URL’s will be omitted from the end credits of the film itself, but will remain on the Online Credits.
REFUNDS
We can refund Credits and Pixel-Ads within 10 days of the date of purchase. Just contact us. After 10 days, we will not give any refunds. Will make our best efforts to correct any errors before our film is completed.
BUYERS DETAILS
All details given to Buyacredit.com are treated with strict confidentiality in order to uphold the privacy of each credit/pixel buyer. By Purchasing a credit or Pixel ad you are giving express permission for Buyacredit to display the name given on the end credits of the film ‘Clovis Dardentor’ or pixel ad logo on the buyacredit.com site .
TERMS OF PURCHASE
By purchasing a credit on the site you are not investing in the film and therefore will not be entitled to any profits made. A credit purchase should be seen as a donation towards the buyacredit.com project and the production of the feature film ‘Clovis Dardentor.
CREDIT SIZE AND ORDER
The top 100 producers will be listed in order of how much they gave on the end credits of the film and on the website. Everyone else will be listed alphabetically. The Size of the online credits may not necessarily be the same as the size of the credits on the end of the film.
NAME CHANGE AND REMOVAL
Buyacredit.com reserves the right to change or remove credits without prior warning or notice.
SUBMITTING IDEAS
By submitting ideas to buyacredit.com (either online through our Site or by Mail), you grant Devlin14 Films Ltd all rights to use, change and reproduce submitted content. Rights of use include other media platforms such as published books, television , Film, DVDs and promotional materials. If you do not agree with these rights then we suggest you do not submit ideas to the website.
TERM OF AGREEMENT
This agreement will remain in full force and effect for as long as you use the Site.
LINKS
The Pixel-ad patchwork contains links to other websites and resources. Buyacredit.com has no control over such external sites and resources. You agree that (i) Buyacredit.com is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of such external sites and resources, and (ii) Buyacredit.com does not endorse nor is it responsible or liable for any Content, advertising, products, or materials on or available from such external sites and resources.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We may change or modify the Terms set forth here in the future; any changes will be announced on our site and will be effective upon posting. Any use of our Site after said posting results in your consent to modifications. Any material changes to this agreement will be announced on our blog or e-mailed to our subscribers.
COPYRIGHT POLICY
We respect the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask that our website visitors do the same. It is our policy to disable access to or remove material that we believe in good faith to be infringing on a copyrighted work. We also disable and/or terminate the credits of those who we believe in good faith are repeatedly infringing copyrighted works.
PROHIBITED CONTENT/ACTIVITY
Credits or Pixel-ads that contain mild or obscene language will be removed from the credit list and Pixel-ad Patchwork without reimbursement. Each person’s name will only appear once, regardless of the number of credits they purchase.
Additional Pixel-Ad Patchwork Guidelines
By purchasing an ad credit you are helping to fund the feature film Clovis Dardentor. Essentially, you are paying a one off fee for an advertising spot for a minimum of 5 years. However, please bear in mind that this is not an investment. You will receive no financial return for your purchase from BUYACREDIT.COM. You are giving permission for it to be posted on our online Pixel-ad Patchwork and in any publication to do with the project. Your personal details (i.e. Email address etc.) are completely confidential and will NOT disclosed anywhere on the website or in any publication to do with the project. Pixel-ads will not be displayed on the end credits of the feature film. They will only be used to advertised on Buyacredit.com.
Additional Top 100 Guidelines
When the budget is fulfilled and the Top100 is frozen, only those populating it at that moment in time will be party to the Top100 benefits. If you get onto the Top100, you are not automatically entitled to all the benefits. ALL final members of the top 100 will receive Premier and After Party tickets upon the films completion. However additional benefits will only be offered to the top 10 producers.
RESTRICTIONS ON YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE
You must use the Site within the confines of all applicable laws and regulations.
IMDB
Owing to the huge number of producers already signed up, those who buy credits will not be listed on the movie’s IMDB entry. This is a ruling from IMDB, not from us.
DISCLAIMERS
Buyacredit.com and will not be responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or content posted on the Site or in connection with us, our Producers, or by any of the programming associated with or utilized in the operation of this Site. We are not responsible for the conduct of any of our Producers, whether online or offline. Under no circumstances will we be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from anyone’s use of the Site, any content posted by our Producers, or any interactions between our Producers, whether online or offline.
LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY
In no event shall Buyacredit.com and/or be held liable to you or anyone else for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages. Not withstanding anything stated previously in this Agreement, Buyacredit.com and/or will at all times only be liable for the amount you donated to Buyacredit.com.
DISPUTES
If there is any dispute involving you and the Site, you agree that the dispute shall be governed by the laws of The United Kingdom without regard to conflict of law provisions.
OTHER
By becoming a Producer you have agreed to the terms set forth in this Agreement. This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, along with any updates that are not included in these two notices but posted prominently, constitutes the entire Agreement between you and the Site. The failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. The section titles in this Agreement are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. This Agreement operates under all applicable laws as governed by the United Kingdom. If any portion of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections are not affected by this discrepancy and remain fully enforceable.
